Open AI For All – The SingularityNET

The Global AI Network SingularityNET lets anyone create, share, and monetize AI services at scale. SingularityNET is a full-stack AI solution powered by a decentralized protocol. It gathered the leading minds in machine learning and blockchain to democratize access to AI technology. Now anyone can take advantage of a global network of AI algorithms, services, and agents.

Decentralized Marketplace
SingularityNET is a decentralized marketplace for AI services. Visit SingularityNET Beta Marketplace to view their current offering.

AI Democratized
SingularityNET was born from a collective will to distribute the power of AI. Sophia, the world’s most expressive robot, is one of our first use cases. Today, she uses multiple AI modules to see, hear, and respond empathetically. Many of her underlying AI modules will be available open-source on SingularityNET.

Sophia – the talking Head

The driving force behind the project is Ben Goertzel, a Hong Kong-based AI researcher and Chief Scientist of Hanson Robotics, a company specialised in building humanoid robots – such as talking head Sophia. Over the last few years, Goertzel has grown wary of the concentration of AI power in the hands of a few Silicon Valley giants.

“I don’t think that what’s happening—with a few companies essentially owning AI, hiring every AI researcher, and buying every AI startup— is best for humanity,” he says. “It means that eventually human-level AI will come from these big corporations.”
